Phillip H. Williams, Sr., 82, of Webb City, Mo. passed away on June 13, 2017, following an illness.
Phillip was born on January 31, 1935 in Pierce City, Mo. the son of the late Fred and Ivy (Mitchell) Williams. He married Lillian Buchanan on March 22, 1953 in Carl Jct., Mo. For twenty-seven years he owned and operated Williams Garage and Wrecker Service. He was a member of Central Christian Center and active in the bus ministry.
Phillip was preceded in death by his wife Lillian, his son Phillip Jr., four brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by four daughters, Betsy Lee and husband Bob, Joplin, Carol Rader and her husband Gary, Phyllis Booth and her husband Amos, Webb City, Mo., and Brittney Williams, Webb City, Mo.; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastor Doug Wilkerson and Paul Bayless will officiate. Burial will be in Waco Cemetery, Waco, Mo. The family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Contributions may be made to Central Christian Center Youth Camp in care of the mortuary.
