Timothy Leon Allen, age 39 passed away at 12:32 am, Thursday, June 29, 2107 at Via Christi St Frances Hospital, Wichita, KS.
Tim was born March 31, 1978 in Joplin, Missouri. His parents were Tommy Simon and Sharon Ann Allen. He has lived in Wichita the past few months, moving from Pensacola, OK. He worked in construction building bridges for several years. He enjoyed playing disc golf and was an avid Indianapolis Colts football fan.
He was married to Cassie Lynne Summers April 5, 1997 in Miami, OK. She survives and lived in Pensacola, OK.
Additional survivors include 4 sons, Zachary Allen (wife, Katy), Brandon Allen (wife, Catilda), and Preston Allen, all of Pensacola, OK and Andrew Cooley, Joplin, MO; one daughter, Emily Stone, Sioux Falls, ND; two grandchildren, Blake Allen and Amelia Stone; His mother, and step-father Jamie and Sharon Clark, Corpus, Christi, TX; one brother, Chris Simon, Los Angeles, CA; two sisters, Ann Allen and Carrie Allen both from Corpus Christi, TX; also several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Mylz Leon Allen.
Tim has been entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS for cremation. The family will host a Celebration of Life gathering at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Derfelt Funeral Home. To help with the final expenses.
