Rose Mary Deonier, age 86, of Communities of Wildwood Ranch Joplin, Mo., formally of Sarcoxie, Mo. went to her heavenly home on June 14, 2017.
She was born on September 25, 1930 to Jim S. Avery and Belva V. (Caddell) Avery at Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing and spending time with family and friends.
She married Roy R. Deonier on September 21, 1947 in Columbus, Ks. They lived on Center Creek near Reeds, Mo. and moved into Sarcoxie, Mo. in 1974 and later in Webb City, Mo in 1996. They had 68 years together.
Roy preceded her in death April 3, 2016. She is also preceded in death by eight brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by one brother Jack Avery and wife Sammie of Oklahoma City, Ok.; four children, Linda Sills and husband Marvin of Galena, Ks., Robert Deonier and wife Sylvia of Goddard, Ks., Connie Sullenger of Webb City, Mo. and Mary Marsh of Carl Junction, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Kristie Goade, Lode Bartholomew, Robin Fajardo, Stacie Brane, Mark Deonier, Jonas Bartholomew, Chanda Cherry, Chad Marsh, Ricky Sullenger; thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will be in Dudman Springs Cemetery near Carthage, Mo. The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Dudman Springs Cemetery Association in care of the Mortuary.
