Jerrie Lynn Butler, age 68, Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
Jerrie was born November 20, 1948 in Joplin, daughter of Delores Bybee Davis and the late Carl Davis.
Jerrie worked in the dietary department at St. John's in Joplin, at Pillsbury, and as a bus driver for the R-8 School District, Head Start, and the Ozark Center.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Davis.
She is survived her mother, her husband, Michael, whom she married October 5, 1973; one son, Robert Butler, and wife, Kelly of Jacksonville, North Carolina; two daughters, Heather Williams, and husband, Clint of Baxter Springs, Kansas, and Michelle Butler, Sarcoxie, Missouri; seven grand children, Zachery Butler, David Coleman, Phillip Miller, Jessica Mays, Jacob Goodman, Maddie Butler, and Haley Fitzjohn; 8 great grandchildren; one sister, Bobbie Russell, Joplin and numerous nieces, nephews and friends that she loved very much.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Jeff D. Martin, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osborne Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
