Jo Lynn (Dacy) Ford, 58, of Monett, MO, went home to peace and comfort with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 25, 2017, while in Cox-South Medical Center in Springfield, MO.
Jo Lynn was born on October 9, 1958 in Monett, MO, daughter of the late Robert J. Dacy, Sr. and Norma J. (Young) Dacy.
Jo Lynn was employed at Crosslines in Monett. She enjoyed her grandchildren, working in her flowers and cooking for her family.
On January 8, 2005 in Monett, Jo Lynn and Gerald Ford were united in marriage.
Jo Lynn is survived by her husband, Gerald, of Monett; three sons, Arron Fly of Joplin, MO, Derrick Fly of Colchester, IL and Jarred Young of Ava, MO; two daughters, Kara Fly of Crane, MO and Megan Wilson, of Pierce City, MO; six grandchildren; one brother, Robert Dacy, Jr. and wife Lynda of Monett; two sisters, Theresa Day and husband Rick, of Fairview, MO and Paulette Willoughby of Pierce City, MO; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Patty Mason; and one brother, Gary Willoughby.
We will hold her in our hearts and miss her dearly.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Pierce City Cemetery in Pierce City, MO with Reverend Jimmie Copley, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
