Matthew “Scott” Tatum, Granby, entered into rest on June 14, 2017 at Freeman Neosho Hospital, at the age of 54.
Matthew was born March 4, 1963 in Carthage, the son of Ken and Janice (Crocker) Tatum. He served in the U. S. Air Force and was a graphic artist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and was loved by all who knew him. He was a member of the Believer’s Faith Church.
Scott and Katy Kirk were married in 1993 and she survives. Additional survivors include his mother, Janice Tatum of Grove, OK; four children, Jessica Myers and husband, Devon; Geri Garrett, Bryson Hounschell and wife, Mary and Stacey Stinbaugh and husband, Joseph; one brother, John ‘Mark’ Tatum and wife, Kay; one sister, Amy Farris and husband, Rob and twelve grandchildren, Lilly, Kylie, Ethan, Chance, Halie, Amory, Jack, Archer, Cody, Rylie, James and Matthew. He is preceded in death by his father, Ken Tatum.
Services will be Sat., June 17, 2017 at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby, Pastor Sandy Shaw will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation Friday evening at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby from 6 to 7 pm.
