(From Clark Funeral Home)James Brett Caywood, age 57 of Joplin, Missouri, entered into rest on August 4, 2022 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
Brett was born February 26, 1965 in Gravette, Arkansas, the son of James and Beverly (Houpt) Caywood.
He attended schools in Neosho and Anderson, Missouri and worked as a technician in the drilling and well service industry. He enjoyed wood carving and working on the farm.
Brett is survived by his mother, Beverly Caywood, uncle, Ray Daugherty; Cody Gooden, Crystal Davidson, Dalton Gooden and Lyliegh Davidson and three additional uncles.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Monty Caywood and sister, Florie Daugherty. Private family services will be held.
