David Mullin

David Charles Mullin, 77, of Anderson, Missouri, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Freeman Neosho Hospital in Neosho, Missouri.

He entered this life on November 14, 1944 in Anderson, Missouri, born to the late, Charley Irving and Gladys Ruth (Dale) Mullin. 

He married the love of his life, Lora Mae Cooper on April 3, 1965 at Jane, Missouri and to this union four children were born. 







He worked at Emerson Electric as a Foreman for several years. David was a Pastor and preached at several area churches to include, Hilltop Mission, McNatt Baptist, Grace Chapel, Lanagan Baptist, Honey Lake and was very proud of his McDonald County Jail Ministry. He enjoyed music, Cardinal Baseball and Old Westerns. David was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Pineville, Missouri. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, pastor and friend.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ted Mullin, Roger Mullin and Steve Mullin.








Those left to share David’s memory are his wife of 57 years, Lora Mae Mullin of the home; four children, Michael David Mullin (Christine) of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Janie Lynn Daugherty (Todd), Matthew Wade Mullin (Sandy Weaver) and Racheal Elizabeth Mullin all of Anderson, Missouri; a sister, Patricia Arnold of Salem, Arkansas; grandchildren, Morgan, Madison, Benjamin, Marissa, Jacob, Shaenna, Gracie, Timmy, Sami, Carly, Gunner, Elijah, Caleb and Faith; eight great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family friends and neighbors, who will dearly miss David.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Pineville, Missouri. Pastor Mark Hall will officiate. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery in Stella, Missouri. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends at this time.
