Elaine Sill

Ruth “Elaine” Scurlock Fannan Sill, age 73, of Carl Junction, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, August 9th, 2022.

Elaine was born December 20th, 1948 in Joplin, Missouri to the union of Ray and Ruth (Ulmer) Scurlock. She was a 1966 graduate of Carl Junction High School. 

She worked at Labarge for many years and stay on when they changed their name to Ducommun Performance Center. She also worked as a hairdresser. 

Elaine was united in marriage to Danny “Dan” Sill on September 26, 2020 in Carl Junction, MO. She enjoyed collecting dishes, decorating, cooking, taking care of other people, and jewelry. She loved everything pink, it did not matter what it was.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Scurlock and Ruth (Ulmer) Scurlock.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Dan Sill; son, Shawn Fannan (Ronda); daughter, Kim Birchfield (Keith); four grandchildren, Erin, Mason, Mary (Dean), and Briar; two great-grandchildren, Ever and Odin; one aunt and uncle, Roy Ulmer (Joane) Tanner; and two special children, doggies Henry and Ollie.

There will be a time of visitation held on Sunday, August 14th, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 15th, 2022 in New Hope Church with Randy Steele officiating.
