Johanna DeRose

Johanna Raquel DeRose, age 32, of Racine, Missouri, entered into rest on July 26, 2022. 

Johanna was born on January 12, 1990, in Joplin, Missouri, and was a lifelong area resident. She attended Wyandotte, Oklahoma, schools and worked as a hostess and waitress in the food service industry. Her son was very special to her, and she was a great auntie and ornery sister. 

Johanna loved to be around people and was passionate about helping others. She loved roses, and her favorite color was orange; she loved jewelry and collected elephants.

Johanna is survived by her son, Kenton DeRose; her mother, Trudy Marie Parker; siblings, Joseph DeRose, Jr., Sophia Parker, and William DeRose; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Steele; paternal grandmother, Marie DeRose; uncle, Kim Parker; aunt, Diane Bailey, aunt, Darlene Barrera, aunt, Doreen Norice, aunt, Dora Carroll; uncle, and Frank DeRose, Jr., five nephews, three nieces, numerous cousins, and a large extended family. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph DeRose, Sr., maternal grandfather, Lonnie Steele, and paternal grandfather, Franklin DeRose, Sr.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 3 to 5 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, Missouri.
