(From Clark Funeral Home)Kathleen Marilyn Lazure, age 89, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 2:07 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2022. She was born December 20, 1932, in Omaha, Nebraska, to the late James Fitzgerald and Carolyn (Madsen) Fitzgerald.
Kathleen married James Lazure on April 19, 1954, and he preceded her in death on December 30, 1985.
Kathleen was a homemaker and caretaker; she loved serving her friends and family. All who knew and loved her will remember her contagious smile and warm personality- not to mention her excellent gambling skills.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her six children Jim (Lori) Lazure, John Lazure, Julie (Bob) Mansur, Dave (Angela) Lazure, Dan (Vicki) Lazure, and Carol (Joe) Shields; three siblings, Joan Obarski, Larry (Rosemary) Fitzgerald, and Tim Fitzgerald; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, her sister, Carol Macan, and brother, Reverend Jim Fitzgerald, preceded her in death.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the St. Canera Catholic Church in Neosho, with Reverend Chaz Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Neosho IOOF Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service. A public viewing will be held at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories from 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022.
