(From Parker Mortuary)Theodore Reynolds, Jr., 61, of Carl Junction, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in Joplin, Missouri.
Theodore was born on March 12, 1961 in Omaha, Nebraska, to the union of Theodore Reynolds and Candice Elizabeth (Mozee) Reynolds. He was the oldest of 11 children.
Theo's love of music began as a boy in Omaha when his father bought him his first guitar. As he got older, he went to the Boys & Girls Club where he was introduced to the piano.
As his interests grew, he learned to play a large variety of instruments, allowing him to play with several musicians and bands like Percy Sledge, Chaka Khan, Brooks & Dunn, and many local talented musicians. He also enjoyed fishing and barbecuing his famous Dinosaur Ribs. His smile and his laughter were contagious and you couldn't help but love him.
Theo was united in marriage to Kathy (Craggett) Davis on February 3, 1989 in Miami, Oklahoma. They spent 33 years together before his passing.
In addition to his parents, Theo was also preceded in death by his brothers, Quintin Reynolds and Jeremy Ramone Phillips.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Reynolds (Home); sons, Teddy Reynolds (Alba, MO.), Daniel Davis and wife Rosita Davis (Oronogo, MO.); his brothers, Tracy Reynolds and wife Jessica Reynolds (Salt Lake City, UT.), Lamond Reynolds (Salt Lake City, UT.), and Grant Reynolds (Omaha, NE.); his sisters, Kimberly Reynolds (Salt Lake City, UT.) and Alyce with husband Vincent Johnson (Salt Lake City, UT.), Francis Phillips, Tawanna Phillips, and Casey Reynolds (Minneapolis, MN.); grandchildren, Serinity and Ian Reynolds, Kalista Foraker, Tyler Davis, Josalyn Foraker, Corbin Davis, and Beckett Davis; together with several extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on August 13th, 2022 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 615 S. Pine Street, Carterville, MO., 64835, with Steve Hodge officiating.
