(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)Donald W. Turner, 79, Neosho, MO passed into eternal rest, Friday, December 9, 2022 suddenly at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, MO.
Donald Wesley Turner December 17, 1942 in Dodge City, KS the son of Elmon and Florence (Davis) Turner. Donald enjoyed being outdoors, mowing his yard, fishing, playing horseshoes and washers. He especially loved to spend time with his family. He formerly worked for Panhandel Eastern and Wintec in Monett, MO. Donald formerly attended Ridgley Baptist Church until his health would not let him attend.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda (Smith) Turner, Neosho; children Michelle Garcia and husband Rual, Wichita, KS, Nicole Thompson and husband James, Magnolia, AR, Evelyn Gilstrap and husband Rodney, Seneca and Levi Wade of the home; Grandchildren Colten Messbarger, Rylee Stringer, Casidee Stringer, Clayton Gilstrap and wife Elizabeth, Ashley Gilstrap, Caleb Gilstrap, Lexandera Guerrero and Esella Guerrero; Great-Grandchildren, Parsley Messbarger, Poppy Gilstrap, Cecelia Gilstrap, Xavier Guerrero and Layla Sanchez.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents Elmon and Florence Turner and his siblings, Earl Turner, Merle Reynolds, Vera Mayes, Imogine Haynes, Wilber Turner, Margaret Shaw, Bobby Turner and Eveley Korbey.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home from 6pm to 7pm.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022, 2 p.m. at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Chapel with John Henry and Doug Henry officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery with Johnny Turner, Billy Ike Henry, James Thompson, Colton Messbarger, Rual Garcia and Russell Taylor serving as pallbearers.
