(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Mrs. Margie A. Davis, 91, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Sarcoxie Nursing Center.
Margie entered this life on Sunday, October 4, 1931 in rural Jasper County, Missouri to the union of the late Thomas William and Lucy B. (Whitaker) Grace. She was a graduate of Sarcoxie High School.
She was united in marriage to Evert Eugene Davis, Jr. in February of 1954 at Dudman Springs Church. Together they shared fifty-six years of memories until his passing on October 13, 2010.
For many years she and Evert owned and operated Western Drilling Tool and Supply Company, Inc. in Chanute, Kansas. Several years after Evert’s passing, Margie relocated to Sarcoxie, Missouri. She enjoyed the great outdoors, word books and for several years she and Evert raised dogs for field trials.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lucy Grace; her husband, Evert E. Davis; siblings, Thomas William Benton Grace, James Grace and Elizabeth Edwards.

Margie is survived by sisters-in-law, Bonnie Grace of Sarcoxie, Missouri and Joretta Duncan of Grove, Oklahoma; dear friends, Ray and Pat Vanderford, of Chante, Kansas; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davis are 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 at Housh-Goodwin Funeral in Sarcoxie, Missouri with Pastor Kenneth Filsinger officiating. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are J.D. Jennett, Daryl Robinson, Brett Robinson, Tom Wilson, Gale Turner and Bill Goodwin. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Vanderford and Gene Huff.
