Linda Bishop

Linda Lowrie-Bishop, aged 76, passed away on November 9, 2023. She was born on July 5, 1947, in Woodland, CA, to Dudley and Etoise (Gilley) Lowrie. 

Linda graduated from Winter's High School in Winters, CA, and continued her education, earning a teaching certificate. She dedicated 32 years as a teacher's assistant at Winters Unified School District, retiring in May 2005.

Linda was an avid reader and enjoyed playing games. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them. 

Linda was united in marriage to Phillip Bishop, her high school sweetheart, on April 23, 1966, in Reno, NV. He survives her. Linda and Phillip built a beautiful family together, raising two sons, Richard Bishop and Darrell Bishop, and his wife Tanya. 

In addition to her husband and sons, Linda is survived by her grandchildren Scott Bishop and wife Cassie, Cole Bishop and wife Alexa, Morganne Haddock, and husband Adam, and her great-grandchildren Brooke Bishop, Karli Bishop, and Raelynn Haddock. 

Linda is also survived by her two brothers, Mike Lowrie and his wife Margee, David and his wife Kelly, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents.

The family will hold a private service to celebrate Linda's life at a later date.
