Erik Clark

Erik Leroy Clark, age 44, of Joplin, passed away at his home on Friday, December 1, 2023.

Erik was born on January 28, 1979 in Galesburg, IL to the union of David and Melinda (Stewart) Clark. He grew up in Quapaw, OK and graduated in 1998 from Quapaw High School. He loved playing high school baseball. Shortly after graduating he enlisted into the United States Army. He served across seas for over 10 years before returning home. Erik worked as the assistant manager for Hardee’s for a number of years. He loved to work and stay busy.

 

Erik was preceded in death by his mother, Melinda Clark.

Erik is survived by his three children, Ethan Clark and wife, Lacey, of Pennsylvania, Trinity Clark, of Missouri, and Erik Clark, of Arkansas; father, David Clark, of Quapaw, OK; two sisters, Lori Magee and Jeri Clark, both of Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Lily Clark; and four nieces.

Cremation arrangements are under the special care of Parker Mortuary.
