It is with a heavy heart and profound respect that we acknowledge the passing of Brenda Johnson on April 12, 2026. Born on March 24, 1961, in Biloxi, MS, USA, Brenda was known for her infectious laughter, witty charm, and the inspiring love she showed to everyone around her. Her radiant spirit was felt by all, and she became a cornerstone of her beloved communities in Carterville, Webb City, Joplin, and Carthage.

Brenda's life was characterized by her dedication to others, especially in her professional life as a caring and compassionate soul at St. Lukes Nursing Home. She was always busy crafting, cooking, and baking, and sharing these hobbies with her children and grandchildren. Her witty and funny nature made every family gathering a joyous occasion. Her love for her family was her driving force, particularly her adoration for her grandchildren, Ren, Rory, Jaden, and Katherine. Brenda was also a devout Christian.








Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Sisk, father, Gerald Sr., and brother, Gerald Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Brandy Alumbaugh and Nicole Mash, and her son, Jeremy Bray. They will remember her as a beacon of unwavering love, an inspiring role model, and a devoted mother.
