She graduated from Greenfield High School with the Class of 1968. Glenda gave birth to two children, a son, Bradley Kent Wynes (June) and a daughter, Belinda Kaye (Wynes) Esper (Michael).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Denzil and Irene, both brothers, Harold Wright and Wayne Wright and her daughter, Belinda Esper.
Glenda surrendered her life to the Lord at an early age at Sharon Baptist Church. She was baptized on the same day as her two, older brothers in Lynn Branch the Summer of 1960. Glenda dearly loved Jesus and was prepared and eager to see Him face to face.
Among other places, she worked to support her family as an early employee of Pennington Seed, Dade County Nursing Home, Dupont-ETI and completed her work years with the US Postal Service. Glenda retired to care for her aging and infirm parents, which she did diligently until their passing.
Glenda was a warm, open-hearted and compassionate person, always putting other's needs above her own, even until the end. To know her was to love her. She enjoyed reading, gardening, watching the Chiefs and WNBA, going out to dinner with her friends, which was always more about the sharing of friendship than a meal. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and especially the hummingbirds. She loved animals, couldn't accept seeing a stray or abandoned animal going hungry and acquired most of her pets that way.
While she wasn't particularly fond of cooking, when the cold weather came around, she would make gravy so her pets could have a warm meal. She made a hobby of collecting unique candle holders and enjoyed traveling to and exploring flea markets to find items to add to her collection. Glenda loved surrounding herself with generational and sentimental keepsakes. She especially loved her family, unconditionally and sacrificially, and was always there to help when needed. She will be missed by those who love her, more than words can possibly express.
She has chosen cremation with interment at Greenfield Cemetery under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel. There will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
