(From Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home)Doris Jean Leach, age 90, of Ash Grove, Missouri, passed away at 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at her home. She was born March 10, 1936, in Ainsworth, Nebraska, the daughter of Raymond and Zella (Parsons) Holder.
Grandma Doris was a 1954 graduate of Cal Poly High School in Riverside, California. She was known by 100’s of family and friends from her work as a Volunteer Grandma for 23 years at Round Grove Christian Academy.
Grandma Doris believed in God and in eternal life through the atoning work of Jesus Christ our Lord.
On July 19, 1958, she married Marvin Lawrence Leach, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1992.
Grandma Doris is survived by three sons, Brian Leach and his wife, Stephanie, of Everton, Missouri, Steve Leach and his wife, Faith, of Ash Grove, Missouri and O.J. Leach and his wife, Staci, of Miller, Missouri; one sister, Margaret Henson, of Lake Isabella, California; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Grandma Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond, and Zella Holder; her husband, Marvin Leach; one son, Clifford Leach; one brother, Jim Holder and two sisters, Vivian Farris and Melva Pattison.
A private family burial will be held at a later date at the Round Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Round Grove Christian Academy, in care of the funeral home, PO Box 108, Miller, Missouri 65707.
