Kristi Palmer

(From Ozark Funeral Home)

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Kristi May Palmer, who left this world peacefully on April 26, 2026, at the age of 64.

Born on August 30, 1962, in Syracuse, Kansas, Kristi brought light, laughter, and kindness to everyone she met. Kristi had a deep love for the simple joys in life. She found peace in her garden, where she nurtured flowers and plants with the same care she gave to the people around her. She enjoyed fishing, and she delighted in crafting — creating handmade treasures that carried her warmth and creativity.

Known for her generous heart, quick wit, and unwavering support for her family and friends, Kristi had a gift for making people feel seen and valued. Whether through her cooking, a warm smile, a listening ear, or a thoughtful gesture, she left a lasting mark on everyone she met.

Kristi is survived by her beloved children — Kyle Wilson, Thomas Wilson, and Lacey Polidoro — her loving brothers, Daniel McKinney and Derek McKinney, and her cherished grandchildren: Tegan, Kyra, Garrett, Summer, and John.

She is preceded in death by her father, William George McKinney; her mother, Mary Louise Kendrick McKinney; her sister, Jane Louise Harper; her brother, Dustin David McKinney; and one beloved grandchild Andrya.

A celebration of Kristi’s life will be held at a later date.

"Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day." Kristi’s life was a beautiful example of love in action — a reminder that kindness, patience, and laughter can change the world in small but powerful ways. Though her absence leaves an ache in our hearts, her spirit will continue to guide us, inspire us, and live on in the countless lives she touched.
