(From Parker Mortuary)Jordan Raymond Booth, age 20, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in Girard, Kansas.
Jordan was born on July 19, 2005, in Pittsburg, Kansas, to Jason Booth and Thongyib Gepford. He began working for Braum’s and worked his way up to becoming the supervisor over at the 26th street location for the last 2 years.
Family was central to who he was, and he carried a deep sense of responsibility and care for the people he loved. He especially embraced the Asian tradition of honoring and caring for his parents, and he took great pride in making sure his mother was looked after.
Outside of work, Jordan lived life with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure. He enjoyed playing video games, working out, and spending time with friends. He also loved riding dirt bikes and mopeds. Jordan had aspirations of enlisting into the Unites States Military in the near future.
Though his life was far too short, he lived with intention and with a clear sense of who he wanted to become. Jordan will be remembered for his kind heart, his selfless nature, and the friendly spirit that made others feel welcome in his presence.
Jordan is survived by his mother, Thongyib Gepford and her life partner, Pete McKeown; father, Jason Booth; sister, Salayla Zimmerle; and brother, Justin Booth.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to the mortuary to help with funeral expenses.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel.
Graveside Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Brandon Dorris officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
