Kasey Clark

Kasey Dawn Clark, 43, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at home after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 22, 1983, to Doug Wilks and Sherry Faucett.

Kasey was the beloved wife of 17 years to Scott Daniel Clark and together they built a beautiful life centered around faith, family, and love. She was the proud and loving mother of Karter and Kamryn Clark and a treasured bonus mom to Sydnee and Shaelyn Clark.

Kasey was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, sister, and friend.

Kasey is survived by her husband, Scott of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, one son, Karter, one daughter, Kamryn, two bonus daughters, Sydnee Clark of Springfield, Missouri, and Shaelyn Clark of Miller, Missouri; her father and stepmother, Doug and Angie Wilks of Strafford, Missouri; her mother, Sherry Faucett of Vinita, Oklahoma; two sisters, Kelsey Lusk and husband, Josh Lusk of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, and Ashley Shoemaker and husband, Jacob of Strafford, Missouri; father-in-law, David Clark of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; mother-in-law, LeeAnn Neal and husband, Darren of Bois’ D’Arc, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Carrie Clark of Miami, Oklahoma and Ashley Ebbs and fiancé Jason Lacey of Marionville, Missouri; her nephews, Kohen, Kooper, Robert, Charlie and nieces, Raelee, Reese, Rowyn, Madyson, Olivia, and one grandbaby, Sloane and her dear friend who became family through her steadfast love and care, Jennifer Regan.

Kasey was preceded in death by her grandfather and grandmother, Norman, and Bonnie Jones; grandfather, James William “JW” Faucett; grandfather, Larry Wilks and grandmother, Janie Conway.

Kasey dedicated 18 years of her life to serving others through her career at Cox South. She was an exceptional nurse whose compassion, work ethic, and servant's heart touched countless lives. She was serving as the Assistant Nurse Manager at the Electrophysiology Lab where she was respected and admired by coworkers and patients alike.

Kasey fought hard, loved deeply, and leaves behind a legacy of faith, resilience, and unconditional love that will continue through all who know her.

A visitation under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the Church In Action in Mt. Vernon. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the church. Burial will follow at the Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery.
