(From White Funeral Home)Terry J. Caddell, age 72, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, at his home on Table Rock Lake.
Terry was born June 23, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Lawrence “Larry” and Alberta “Bert” (Landis) Caddell. He graduated from Grandview High School in Grandview, Missouri, in 1971. Shortly after, Terry proudly answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Marines an honor he carried with him throughout his life.
Later in life, Terry made his home along the shores of Table Rock Lake, a place he truly loved. There, he owned and operated Mo-Kan Hay, a trucking business he dedicated himself to until his retirement. Terry was known for his strong work ethic and the pride he took in providing for his family.
When he wasn’t on the road, Terry was an avid sports fan. He followed games with remarkable dedication, often keeping a detailed daily schedule to ensure he never missed a moment. His loyalty to the Kansas City Chiefs ran deep reflecting his roots and lifelong connection to the place he called home.
Terry had a heart as big as his personality. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, never asking for anything in return. His love for animals was undeniable, and they seemed to sense his kindness, often drawn naturally to him.
He was also a master at the grill and smoker, taking great pride in preparing meals for those he loved. For Terry, cooking wasn’t just a hobby, it was an expression of care, and he treated every meal like a masterpiece.
Above all, Terry cherished his family. He was the life of every gathering, known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and ability to keep everyone laughing. His presence brought joy, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
Terry is survived by his partner in crime, Lisa Spencer; two brothers, Jerry Caddell and his wife Becky of Shell Knob, Missouri, and Barry Caddell and his wife Becky of Harrisonville, Missouri; one sister, Sheri Brooks and her husband Ray of Perry, Kansas; one sister-in-law, Sharon Caddell of Shell Knob, Missouri; six nephews; two nieces; and five great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents and one brother Gary Caddell.
A private family burial will be held at Mikeman Cemetery in Shell Knob, Missouri.
A family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to Haven of the Ozarks and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri.
