(From Peterson Funeral Chapel)John Robert Thomas, age 69 of Jenkins, Missouri passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 26, 2026 under Cox Hospice Care. John was born October 25, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri. The son of Onis and Lottie (Hudson) Thomas.
John was an avid pool player who loved the game and played whenever he could. He also drove a propane truck for MFA for 15 years.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Deonna; step son, Casey Zoller; mother in law, Linda McVey; his God son, Marshal Friend; and a host of friends.
Preceding John in death are his parents, Onis and Lottie; step son, Dustin Lauffer; father in law, Arvin Don Smith; two sister in laws, Starlette Huffer and Gaylene Justice; and one of his best friends in life, Kenny Joe Friend.

Cremation is under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
