(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Mervie C. Ingram, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on April 27, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born November 8, 1945, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to Belton Floyd and Frances Elizabeth Ingram.
Mervie proudly served his country in the United States Army, completing multiple tours in Vietnam. He was awarded several meritorious service medals including his Vietnam Service Metal.
In 1989, he married Louise Beardsley in Marina, California. Together they shared many years and raised two children.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Butch Ingram and Tilman Ingram.
He is survived by his loving wife, Louise Ingram; his son, Timothy Ingram; his daughter, Sara Allen; and three sisters, Diane Turner, Judy Stacks, and Betty Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, at Faith Assembly of Joplin, with Military honors.
