Carol L. Stuart, 61, Stark City, received her eternal healing at her home on July 4, 2018. Carol was born Nov. 19, 1956 in Washburn, the daughter of Lawrence and Ruby (Long) Pendergraft. She was a lifelong area resident and had worked at Niscinger Uniform and Big Smith and the last 28 years as a pastor’s wife.
Carol married James Stuart on July 21, 1989 and he survives. Additional survivors include five children, James R. Stuart, John M. Stuart and wife, Sheila, Shelly Gilmore and husband, Doug, William Eytcheson and wife, Jennifer and Ashley Bell and husband, Todd; her mother, Ruby Taleon; two brothers; five sisters; 19 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, a son, Thomas Stuart and a sister, Cindy Pendergraft.
Services will be Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho, MO. Pastor Susie Bradley will officiate. Interment will follow in the Wanda Cemetery, Wanda, MO. The family will receive friends between 2 and 3 pm on Sunday at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
