Darrell McCloud age 67 of Webb City, Missouri passed away Monday July 2, 2018 at Freeman Hospital following an illness.
He was born November 26, 1950 in Joplin, Missouri to Bill and Virginia (Hunt) McCloud.
Darrell was co-owner of Cardinal Cleaning and also worked for Quest Diagnostics. He was a member of the last class to graduate from Carterville High School and was proud to be a Comet. His favorite pastimes included golfing, fishing and watching the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals. His grandchildren were the joy of his life.
He married Nancy Heman on April 5, 1985 and she survives. Darrell is also survived by two daughters, Melissa Barber and husband Teddy; Stacy Wilson and husband Chris; one brother and best friend Rick McCloud; six grandchildren, Zachary, Kelsey, Aja, Kayleigh, Emilee and Levi.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, and one sister.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday July 10 at 2:00pm at Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Coberley officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 (noon) – 2:00 pm Tuesday prior to the service.
Memorial contributions are requested to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or to MD Anderson Cancer Center and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
