Sharlene N. Wheeler was born April 15, 1942 in Salina, Oklahoma, the daughter of Wallace William and Thelma (Hoover) Nowman. She entered into rest on July 3, 2018 at her home in Neosho at the age of 76.
Sharlene moved to Neosho June 1, 1980 and had worked at Crowder Industries for many years. She was a member of the Community Chapel Church in Neosho.
Sharlene married Phillip Clark Brown who preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 1985 and then married Bill Wheeler, who preceded her in death in 1992. She is survived by three children, Lonnie Brian Brown of Neosho; Donna E. Stafford of Granby and Kevin Clark Brown of Minnesota; one brother, Ed Nowman of Montana and a sister, Margaret Fautch. Sharlene will be taken for cremation and a private family service will be held.
