Irene Heilig, Carthage, MO passed away October 6, 2018 at the age of 99 years, eight months, and four days. She was born February 12, 1919 in Blooming Rose, MO to Herbert and Mary Lucy (Mobley) Ellis.
Irene previously worked for Big Smith in the Engineering Department. She was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. On June 28, 1936, Irene married Ralph Heilig in Fisk, MO; he preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by one sister, Lois Dill and husband, Bill of Oak Grove, MO and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Irene was preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings.
Services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Clark Chapel of Memories, Neosho, MO with Dr. Jerry Seigel officiating. Interment will follow at Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery with her nephews serving as pallbearers.
