Robert Franklin Jones, of Lamar, MO, departed this life on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO at the age of 63.
He was born on January 2, 1955 in Lockwood, MO to Paul and Hiwathia Juanita (Smith) Jones. Robert enjoyed constructing model cars. He also had a passion for guitars.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Paul and Hiwathia Juanita Jones; one brother, Morris Jones; and one sister, Phyllis O’Brien.
Survivors include one sister, Levona Evans of Lamar, MO; three brothers, Eddie Jones of Lamar, MO, David Jones of Lamar, MO, and Jody Jones of Greenfield, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018, in Greenfield Funeral Chapel . Burial will follow in Pennsboro Cemetery. Family and friends may call at their convenience on Friday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
