Mrs. Patricia Ann Guinn, 77, of LaRussell, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Webb City Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Patricia entered this life on September 17, 1941 in Carthage, Missouri, to the union of the late Fred Lee and Erma Charlena (Burkett) Whitehead. She was a graduate of Sarcoxie High School. On June 27, 1959 she was united in marriage to Rodney Guinn, sharing sixty years together. For several years she was employed with Juvenile Shoe and Ben Franklin. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sarcoxie as well as the Church pianist. She was also a member of the Progress Club in Sarcoxie. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, making pies, music as well as spending time with her family and friends. Patricia will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul Michael Guinn; brothers, Larry Whitehead and Fred Whitehead; and brother- in-law, Larry Heman.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Rodney; children, Mark Guinn of Shell Knob, Kevin Guinn and wife, Nancy, of Sarcoxie and Angie Hine and husband, Robbie also of Sarcoxie; grandchildren, Jordan Nichols and husband, Steven, Amelia Guinn, Hayden Guinn, Kyle Guinn, Kayla Garcia and husband, Angel, Rowan Hine and Rhys Hine; great grandchildren; Addison Nichols, Karlie Nichols, Jace Nichols and Kailee Smith; sister, Linda Heman of LaRussell; cousins; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Guinn are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie, with Pastor Tom Shouse officiating. Interment will follow at Harvey Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Kyle Guinn, Hayden Guinn, Rhys Hine, Darrell Waggoner, Bobby Waggoner, Tommy Waggoner, Angel Garcia and Steven Nichols. Honorary pallbearers are Chip Taylor, Dale Waggoner, Lester “Sonny” Weinstein, Roxie Rogers and Paula Bright. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
