Bobby Turner

Robert Sheldon 'Bobby' Turner, Jr., age 53, Galena, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at his home.

Bobby was born November 28, 1965 in Joplin to Delores Farrar Turner and the late Robert Turner, Sr. and had lived in the Joplin area all of his life.

Bobby worked for the City of Galena for several years for the Galena Police Department and as a volunteer fireman. He had also worked for Freeman East Hospital in the security department for several years. Bobby loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Survivors include a son, Sheldon Turner and his wife, Ciji; his mother, Delores Turner, Galena, Kansas; and three grandchildren, Michelle, Adriana and David.

Bobby has been taken for cremation.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
