Carey Lee Cardwell age 58 of Carl Junction, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at his home.
He was born on June 16, 1961 and was raised most of his childhood in California. In 1980, Carey made his way to Missouri in before returning to California for a brief time.
In 1981, Carey came back to Missouri where he settled to raise his family. Carey worked for Lozier as well as Able Body; most recently he worked at FedEx.
Aside from making time to see his family and spending time at the baseball fields with his grandson, Carey spent most of his time working on his passion for music. He was a local musician, playing in several local bands, as well as at church. He was a member of Dalastar, Urgent Fury, Torn, Blank Earth, and most currently, Chroma. He loved to collect Spector Bass’s and share his passion with just about anyone.
Carey is survived by his daughter Tiffany, her husband Chad, and Step-son Austin Stears; son, Justin, his wife Ashleigh, and their three children Corbin, Nolan, and Finleigh Cardwell; father, Jerry Cardwell, mother, Geraldine Schnaible; sister Melanie O’brien; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home in Carl Junction with Pastor John Swadley officiating.
