Sydney Kay Forker, age 83 of Carl Junction, Missouri passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
She was born on June 30, 1936 to Marshall and Unabelle Brody in Waterloo, Iowa.
Sydney married Billy Frank Forker on November 5, 1955 and they were married for 63 years. She enjoyed cross stitching, getting together with family and friends, and playing bingo.
Sydney was preceded in death by her parents, and a son-in-law, Jeff Oberdick.
She is survived by her husband Bill Forker; a daughter, Pamela Oberdick; son, Timothy Forker and daughter-in-law, Kimberly; daughter, Rebecca Abbott; 4 grandchildren, Chris Bingham, Ashley Abbott, Jared Forker, Karsen Raible; 5 great grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Bamsey and brother in law, Bob Bamsey.
Anyone who knew Sydney loved her. She will be greatly missed.
