Helen Delores Bostwick, age 82, Joplin, passed away at 2:56 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2019 at her home after a long illness.
Helen was born January 8, 1937 in Hutchinson, Kansas to the late Clyde Henry Steel and Helen Lorene Armstead Steel and had lived in the Joplin/Pittsburg area for most of her life.
Helen and her husband operated the newspaper in Delphos, Kansas for several years. After her move to the Joplin area, she worked as a social worker in Pittsburg, Kansas for many years. She loved her family and will be missed by everyone that knew her.
Helen is survived by a son, Terry S. Bostwick, Paris, France; two daughters, Dana Mason and husband, David Bowers, Shawn R. Bostwick and husband, Daniel Hallacy; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
