Mary Montague, age 63, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cassville, Missouri.
She was born March 31, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Keith L. and Ethel Mae (Hughes) Hundley.
On June 4, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada, she was united in marriage to Martin Montague, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Jeff Schovan of Derby, Kansas; one daughter, Emily Ori and her husband Mike of Joplin, Missouri; two brothers, Jim Hundley of Mulvane, Kansas and Kevin Hundley of Derby, Kansas; three sisters, Teri Bauer and her husband Harold of Wichita, Kansas, Debbie Schovan of Wichita, Kansas and Denise Brozek and her husband Mark of Mulvane, Kansas and three grandchildren, Patricia “PJ” Ori, Ross Schovan and Chase Schovan.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two sisters, Pat and Nancy.
Mary grew up and received her education in Wichita, where she graduated from high school. For many years she worked for Pizza Hut franchise as a bookkeeper. In 2008 she and Martin moved to Eagle Rock to make their home. One of her passions was the love she had for her pets and she also enjoyed reading and going to the Eagle Rock Library. She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Cassville.
No services are scheduled. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
