Peggy Carsello

Peggy Ann Carsello, age 86, Joplin, passed away at 12:04 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Joplin Health and Rehabilitation Center after an illness.

Peggy was born July 10, 1933 in Pittsburg, Kansas to the late Raymond Richards and Hazel Crain Richards and had lived in Joplin since 1995, moving from Marshfield, Missouri.

Peggy graduated in 1951 from South Shore High School in Chicago. She had worked as a realtor, waitress and secretary for several businesses in the Chicago area for several years.








Peggy loved to paint; dance and was an excellent decorator, whether with flowers or at the home. She volunteered with Mercy Hospice and was a very spiritual woman, sharing God's love with many. Peggy loved animals and was a 'mama bear' when it came to her family. She was a very humble woman that will be missed by anyone that knew her.

Survivors include her children, David Ott and wife, Victoria, Joplin, Laura Bradshaw and husband, Ron, Port Orchard, Washington, Kathleen Alexander and husband, Jim, Snohomish, Washington, Chris Ott, Joplin; four cousins, Pat Kelly Means, Ann Theis, Bob Richards, Don Spigerrelli; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and many friends, including her Joplin Health and Rehabilitation family.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-6:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
