Brad Chaligoj

(From Simpson Funeral Home)

Bradley “Brad” James Chaligoj of Carl Junction, MO, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home on September 15, 2019 at the young age of 36.

He was born in Joplin, MO on December 18, 1982 to Rick and Sally (Gowen) Chaligoj of Carl Junction, MO.

Brad is survived by many family members including his three children, Amarah, Veda, and Brock Chaligoj; his father Broderick “Rick” Chaligoj; his two brothers, Byron “Jesse” Chaligoj and Broderick “Joe” Chaligoj and Joe’s wife Celeste Chaligoj; his nieces Rebecca Chaligoj, Carley Chaligoj, and nephew Aidan Chaligoj.

He is preceded in death by his mother Sally Chaligoj.

Brad was a naturally charismatic person and an excellent artist. He used his artistic talents to draw many portraits for friends and family and had also recently learned tattoo artistry. He had a passion for motorcycles and ATVs. He spent many hours working on them with his father and brothers in their shop. His newest project was a paint job for his bike. Brad enjoyed spending time with his family and children. His greatest joy was to take his kids fishing in their pond.

Above all, Brad loved his family and was loved by every one of them. He will be greatly missed, but find comfort knowing you have a friend watching over you.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Carl Junction Cemetery with Reverend Bob Simon officiating.
