Opal Hatfield

Opal June Hatfield, 86 years, of Noel, Missouri passed away peacefully in her easy chair on Monday, September 16, 2019 at her home.

Opal was born on November 17, 1932 to the late, Everett and Junetta (Kirk) Duncan. She married William Edward Hatfield on March 29, 1957 at Southwest City, Missouri. Opal was a bank cashier working for the Noel State Bank. She was a faithful member of the Noel United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Hatfield; her parents; a brother, Eldon Lee Duncan, a sister, Melba Jane Duncan, baby brother Duncan.








Opal is survived by her children, Debbie Dolence, Tami Cobb (Eb) and Scott Hatfield; grandchildren, Tiffany Fitzpatrick (Scott), Danielle Cobb (Danny), Michael Cobb (Kyleigh), Ashley Dolence (Billy), William Edward "Liam" Hatfield; great grandchildren, Madison Cobb, Adelyn Fitzpatrick, David Cobb, Taylor Smallwood, Logan Smallwood; siblings, Juanita Cook, Danny Duncan; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Opal.

Funeral services for Opal will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Noel United Methodist Church. Pastor Mark Kailbourn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The family will receive friends at this time.
