K. T. Ashburn

(From Derfelt Funeral Home)

Kenneth Thomas “KT” Ashburn, age 28, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 in Joplin, MO.

KT was born April 12, 1991 in Joplin, MO. His parents were Bruce A Ashburn and Tammy A (Darnaby) Pickett. He had resided in Bella Vista Arkansas, after living most of his life in Galena, KS.

He had worked at several different jobs and we will just say he was a professional of his own kind, we will say this anything he did he was all in 100 percent. His pastimes were fishing and camping. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He loved going out on boat rides with his daddy and going to our family swimming hole.

Although, he was only 28 he packed a lot of life into that short time, it was almost as if he lived in dog years. His babies always were hanging around his neck like a necklace. His kids were his passion. He had a charismatic smile that was big just like them big ol' ears! His wife was his best friend and soulmate! He was happy to finally talk her into marrying him and blessing her with becoming Mrs. Ashburn. He sure was hardheaded just like his mother that he loved dearly. Him and his brother James sure was good at finding mischief, but that was a love like no other between those boys! Kt would have protected anyone of his family members but you did not mess with his sisters! They all had such a close bond. There are so many stories that we could share but we will continue these stories at his celebration of life ( even the ornery ones lol ) ! He is as free as a bird now, and we will never stop missing him, Until we meet again in the clouds!

KT was married to Felicia Eaton on June 6, 2019 at Bentonville, AR. She survives.
