Mr. Teddy Joe Rench, 75, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, September 20, 2019, at his residence.
Ted entered this life on August 21, 1944, in Vandalia, Illinois, son of the late Lowell and Dorothy Fannin. He was raised and graduated high school in Vandalia. He has been a resident of the Noel, Missouri area for the last thirty-five years. He retired as supervisor in 2000 from Simmons Foods in Southwest City, Missouri. Ted was funny, thoughtful and a bit crazy. He absolutely loved Christmas and each year would purchase countless decorations to add to his arsenal of Christmas décor. He enjoyed cooking, a good prank and loved his St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren, Nicole Hodge and Stephen Brown; and a brother, Bill Rench.
Ted is survived by his companion, Linda Glendenning of the home; six daughters, Tedra Moser of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Amber Wetzel of Beaumont, California, Crystal Gray of Fairland, Oklahoma, Regina Dick of Miami, Oklahoma Lawanna Damron of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas and Osheanna Rench-Glendenning of Noel; a son, Robbie Rench of the state of Arkansas; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Steven Rench of St. Louis and Jason Rench of St. Clair, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Ted will be held graveside on Friday, September 27, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia, Illinois. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
