Mary Ann Shields, age 67, Webb City, passed away at 9:29 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2019 at her residence.
Mary was born February 22, 1952 in Fayette, Missouri and had lived in the Joplin area most of her life.
Mary worked as a cook and dishwasher for the Red Onion Cafe for over twenty three years. She had also worked at Hunt's BBQ and Granny Shaffer's Restaurants.
Mary enjoyed bowling; thrift shops; garage sales and collecting all kinds of things. She loved people and spending time with her family. Mary will be missed by all who knew her.
She married Edward Arnold Shields. He preceded her in death on August 26, 2011.
Survivors include her children, Alan Shields, Webb City, Regina Watson, Quapaw, Oklahoma, Danny Carl Shields, Monett, Chris W. Shields, Dallas, Texas, Angela Slate, Webb City; her mother, Gloria Spireck, Loveland, Colorado; eighteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Memorial services are planned for Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Warren's Branch Baptist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
