Carolyn Fields

Carolyn Kay Fields, 81 years, of Anderson, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Carolyn was born on June 4, 1938 in Southwest City, Missouri to the late Dean and Virginia (Lewis) Shaver. She married Gary Grant Fields on June 10, 1956 in Anderson, Missouri and to this union two sons were born. She was considerate, giving and loved visiting with people. Carolyn had a gift for writing the sweetest cards, because she loved helping people. She had a card for every situation. She was a member of the Buffalo Creek Baptist Church in Tiff City, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Kerry Brent Fields.








Carolyn is survived by her husband, Gary Fields of the home; her son, Rod Fields and wife, Brenda of Tiff City, Missouri; a sister Marilyn Pryor and husband, Roger of Norman, Oklahoma; a brother Jack Shaver and wife, Dana of Tiff City, Missouri; five grandchildren Kyle Fields and wife, Kelsie, Kade Fields and wife, Meagan, Brent Fields, Brandon Fields and Caroline Fields; three great grandchildren, Remi Fields, Kase Fields and Hensli Fields; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Carolyn.

Funeral services for Carolyn will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Buffalo Creek Baptist Church in Tiff City, Missouri. Brother Justin Steadman will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The family will receive friends at this time.
