(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Adam Michael Dillow, age 39 of Joplin, Missouri passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Adam was born November 10, 1981 in Joplin, Missouri to Walter and Ruth (Suhrie) Dillow. Adam played baseball all during his early years and earned the name “The Enforcer” for all the home runs he hit in every game.
Adam graduated from Joplin High School in the year 2000. He attended Missouri Southern State University for 2 years taking general studies. He was intrigued with motorcycles and bought his first one in 2017.
Adam wasn’t materialistic. He had little, but was very caring and giving to people in need. He was selfless in helping others. He loved antique shopping and going to flea markets - especially hunting for “rusty gold!” He had a creative eye and talent for making handmade gifts for family and friends.
Adam is survived by his parents, Walter and Ruth and one brother, Jacob Dillow and wife, Anna of Kansas City. He also had an extended family of cousins and loving aunts and uncles.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
