Faye Self

Faye Self was born August 22, 1941 in Sioux City, Iowa to James and Virginia (Kemp) Bauer. She entered into rest on May 25, 2021 in Neosho, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 79. 

Fay had worked as a nurses' aide at the Neosho Senior Center, as a machine operator for La-Z-Boy and as a cook and medical technician at Spring Hill Assisted Living. She loved to read and she especially loved being with her family. 

Faye is survived by six children, Kimberly Faye (Greg) Beard of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Donna (Bob) Clark of Neosho, Bradley Self of Neosho, Laura (Rick) Porter of Neosho, Penny (Craig) Ramsay of Neosho and Tina (Brian) McReynolds of Neosho; four siblings, Pam Pinson, Susan Teebeaugh, Doug Lehman and Gary Lehman; sixteen grandchildren and numerous foster children, including Mark Gordon of Nebraska. 

Faye is preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Creviston, three brothers, James 'Skip', David and Jon Bauer.
