Adanna Ryan

Adanna Nichole Ryan formally of Baxter Springs, Kansas peacefully stepped into her eternal life on April 22, 2021 at her home in Windsor, Colorado.

She grew up in Baxter Springs, Kansas. Graduated from Baxter Springs High School with the class of 1997. She graduated from Purdue University to pursue a career in education. She went to Wyoming University to obtain her master in counseling hoping to reach more children.








Always keeping her Native American ancestry close to her heart, she did student teaching at Kayenta Reservation in Arizona. Her first year as a counselor was on the Kickapoo Reservation. She found her home in Colorado working at the Martinez Elementary. She loved her kiddos and formed deep bonds with her coworkers.

She leaves behind her mother Charlotte Ryan, brother Jamey Ryan of Baxter Springs, Kansas, Sister Larisa Ryan of Cincinnati, Ohio. Her best friend Anne Crockett of Joplin, Missouri. Also, father Danny Ryan of Webb City, Her maternal Grandmother Alice Hampton and her favorite aunt and uncle Luann and Bill Hamilton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He paternal Grandmother Shirley Ryan of Web City, and much loved Colorado family Doug Williams and Joy Sherman.

Her friends are hosting a Celebration of Life 11:00AM Saturday June 5, 2021 at Schermerhorn Park in Galena, Kansas. We are so grateful for these friends who have reached out to help us with plans and love during this time. Burial will take place at a later date at Butler Cemetery.
