(From Parker Mortuary) Jeremy Allen Stocker, age 40, Joplin, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Mercy of Joplin after a sudden illness.
Jeremy was born September 30, 1980 in Carthage, Missouri, and stayed in the Joplin area most of his life, working in construction, mainly as a roofer. He enjoyed playing basketball both in school and with his friends.
He had many friends who will miss him greatly, and especially his family.
Survivors include his children, Shyanne Stocker of Joplin, Elijah Stocker of Carthage, his mother, Debbie Capps and husband Richard of Joplin; a sister, Heather Nuse and husband Zachary of Lamar, Missouri, a stepbrother, Jacob Capps of Joplin; and many good friends.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at his mother’s home for friends and family.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
He was also married to Michelle Morin, his wife of 5 years and his step daughters, Lilly Waterman, Violet Cox and Daisy Gray. We miss him and love him dearly and fortunate to spend time with him in his last few days. I love you and I miss you. I'm sorry your family had made it this way. I know this isnt what you wanted and I remember what you said before you left that day. I will get you back and bring you home. I love you
