Bud DeLaMatter

Truman 'Bud' DeLaMatter was born July 29, 1959 in Zion, Illinois to Ronald and Melva (Grife) DeLaMatter. He entered into rest on May 24, 2021 at Gentry, Arkansas, following a long term illness at the age of 61. 

Truman was a graduate of Diamond High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a longtime resident of Gentry and had worked as a farmhand. He enjoyed watching football, basketball and westerns.

He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Truman is survived by his mother, Melva DeLaMatter; one brother, Cecil (Suzanne) DeLaMatter of West Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two sisters, Linda (Rob) Adler of Gentry and Arlene (Mike) Bowers of Maysville, Arkansas and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and additonal extended family. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald and three brothers, Ronnie, Carl and Jimmy DeLaMatter.

Interment will follow in the Banner Cemetery and those serving as pallbearers will be, Billy DeLaMatter, Thomas Adler, Brett Dubois and Dylan Adler.
