Truman was a graduate of Diamond High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a longtime resident of Gentry and had worked as a farmhand. He enjoyed watching football, basketball and westerns.
He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Truman is survived by his mother, Melva DeLaMatter; one brother, Cecil (Suzanne) DeLaMatter of West Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two sisters, Linda (Rob) Adler of Gentry and Arlene (Mike) Bowers of Maysville, Arkansas and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and additonal extended family. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald and three brothers, Ronnie, Carl and Jimmy DeLaMatter.
