Brenda Sims

Brenda Ellen Sims was born November 28, 1949 in Neosho, one of six children to Hosie and Gladys (Burkhart) Goswick. She entered into rest in the comfort of her home, following an extended illness at the age of 71. 

Brenda was a lifelong area resident and worked at the Neosho Daily News as a carrier for over twenty years. She loved the color pink and being with her family. 

Brenda and Terry Sims were married on April 8, 1965 in Granby and he survives of the home. 

In addition to her husband of 56 years, she is survived by three children, Scott Sims of Ft. Myers, Florida; Connie Boyd and last husband, Carl; Carrie Sims and fiance`Chris McReynolds of Neosho; four grandchildren; Megan Farley, Nicholas (Lacie) Linton, Tristan Sims and Austin Sims and six great grandchildren; Konnor Peyton, Kameryn Layman, Kaisen Linton, Shelby Boyer, Summer Linton and Nicholas Linton, II. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; five siblings and son-in-law, Carl Boyd.
