Robert Eberle

(From Clark Funeral Home)

After a short illness, Robert Brian Eberle, 63, Neosho, MO, entered into rest on May 25, 2021. He was born August 1, 1957, in Neosho to Rose Marie (Devoncourt) and Max N. Eberle.

Robert was a 1975 graduate of Neosho High School and a 1977 graduate of the Water and Wastewater School at Crowder College. He left Neosho for Iowa, then moved to Independence, MO, where he worked for that city’s Water and Wastewater department for 15 years.

He then returned to Neosho in 1997, where he owned and operated Robert Eberle Construction for several years before working as a forklift operator at Newell Brands in Neosho until his retirement.

Robert’s favorite line was “Everybody Different!” He was always the life of the party. He loved to kayak, go to the river, and travel to National Parks with Traci and Brodey; his favorite parks were Yosemite and Black Canyon in Colorado.

Robert also enjoyed white water rafting, fishing, and spending time with friends at the lake. He was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and was so proud when they won the Super Bowl in 2020; he also was a fan of the Kansas City Royals. Roger was larger than life and never met a stranger, and made everyone feel special.

Robert is survived by his significant other, Traci Kalmbach Duncan of Neosho; two children, Brodey Eberle of Neosho and Ashley Bradley of Denver, CO; three brothers, Jim (Dawn) Eberle of Dubuque, IA, Stephen (Lisa) Eberle of Rogers, AR, and Roger (Sherry) Eberle of Neosho; two sisters, Diane (Richard) Stoops of Grove, OK and Susan (Jeff) Eberle of Neosho; and one grandchild, Ember Harrell of Denver.

A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.

Contributions to honor Robert may be made to New-Mac CASA, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
